MidMade Inspection Hatches
MidMade have two upper models of upper hatch: the LEX D70 and LUX D1020
The LEX D70 is a practical and clever supplementary product for home environments with high energy requirements. The LEX D70 upper hatch is made of wood and insulated with cellular plastic, which together provide the finish, functionality and additional advantages home owners value. Available in four sizes and, where combined with loft ladder LEX 70, provides a U-value of 0.20.
The LUX D1020 is specially designed for home environments with high energy requirements and is an elegant and practical supplementary product. The white elegant, moulded compound upper hatch has an integrated liner and polystyrene insulation. This provides, in combination with loft ladders in the same series, LUX A1120 or LUX A1220, a U-value of 0.33.
LEX D70
- Available in four sizes: 570 x 1100mm, 540 x 1130mm, 700 x 1130mm and 680 x 1280mm
- Insulated with 70mm of polystyrene insulation, giving a U-value of 0.40 (0.20 when used with LEX 70)
- Supplied with 120mm opening handle
- Hatch is finished in an attractive white base coat for ease of decoration
LUX D1020
- Hatch size 570 x 1100mm
- Insulated with 50mm of polystyrene insulation, giving a U-value of 0.54 (0.33 when used with LUX ladder)
- Supplied with 120mm opening handle
- Composite hatch with integral architrave offers minimal finishing requirement
