The LEX Range of Loft Ladders
Best in class loft ladders for home environments, the LEX combines Swedish quality with first class design and functionality. The compact loft ladder is manufactured from slow grown spruce and is known around the world for its strong design, durability and easy fitting. In the closed position, it does not take up space in the loft. Hatches are available in a range of sizes, and the system can be supplied with a three-section folding timber or aluminium concertina ladder.
The LEX 30 and LEX 70 is supplied with a cellular plastic insulated hatch and the LEX 60 is supplied with a hatch that complies with fire standard EI30. Both hatches comply with European standards by effectively keeping heat in and draughts out. U-values from 0.40.
The SAX verions of the LEX range are flexible aluminium loft ladders specially designed for home environments which require that little bit extra. LEX SAX is ideal for smaller spaces and high ceilings. Its strong design also provides a stable and functional solution which will last for many years. Ladders are available in lengths from under 2500 up to 3400mm with the option to add or remove ladder sections.
Supplied ready to fit with untreated frame and hatch, three point lock, 800 mm key/operation rod, symmetrical spring balancing and protective pads.
LEX 30
- Available in two hatch sizes: 540 x 1130mm and 670 x 1130mm
- The trap door is insulated with 30mm of polystyrene insulation, giving a U-value of 0.82
- Suits ceiling heights up to 2700mm (can be extended to 3200 with extension piece)
- Spring balanced trap door for ease of operation
- Hatch is finished in an attractive white base coat for ease of decoration
LEX 70
- Available in two hatch sizes: 540 x 1130mm and 700 x 1130mm
- The trap door is insulated with 70mm of polystyrene insulation, giving a U-value of 0.40
- Suits ceiling heights up to 2700mm (can be extended to 3200 with extension piece)
- Spring balanced trap door for ease of operation
- Hatch is finished in an attractive white base coat for ease of decoration
LEX 60
- Available in two hatch sizes: 540 x 1130mm and 700 x 1130mm
- Fire certified to EI30 (resistant for up to 30 minutes)
- The trap door is insulated with 60mm of rockwool insulation, giving a U-value of 1.00
- Suits ceiling heights up to 2700mm (can be extended to 3200 with extension piece)
- Spring balanced trap door for ease of operation
- Hatch is finished in an attractive white base coat for ease of decoration
LEX 60 SAX/LEX 70 SAX
- Available in three hatch sizes: 540 x 820mm, 540 x 1130mm and 700 x 1130mm
- LEX 60 is fire certified to EI30 (resistant for up to 30 minutes)
- LEX 70 trap door is insulated with 70mm of polystyrene insulation, giving a U-value of 0.40
