MidMade Inspection Hatches
MidMade offer three main ranges of inspection hatches: SAN, LUX and LUX PROFFS.
The SAN series' two standard models are specially designed for home environments and provide a unique mix of Swedish design and quality. The pull-out proof hatches are attached to a strong wood frame and designed to withstand all known climates. Hard fibreboard and intermediate cellular plastic insulation for SAN 70 or of fire standard compliant rockwool for SAN 60. Both models are available in two standard sizes and can be switched between right to left side hanging. U-value from 0.41.
The LUX B design is based on the same principles used to develop the LUX loft ladders. LUX B is a popular and beautiful series of high quality wall hatches from MidMade. The white moulded compound hatches blend elegantly into most home environments and provide the ultimate finish and performance. The hatches are available in two standard sizes: B1010 and the higher B1020. Both models have switchable hinges for right or left side hanging. Insulation and liner for minimum draught and heat loss. U-value 0.54.
The LUX PROFFS wall hatch is made of steel and complies with fire standard EI60 requirements. This makes these hatches ideal for multi-home buildings, schools, industrial buildings, hospitals and other public buildings. Available as models B5010 or B5020, depending on the opening size required. The strong wall hatch can also be custom made and be left or right side hung.
SAN 70
- Available in two sizes: 540 x 790mm and 580 x 1100mm
- Insulated with 70mm of polystyrene insulation, giving a U-value of 0.41
- Supplied with 120mm opening handle
- Timber door is supplied unpainted for integration into existing decor
SAN 60
- Available in two sizes: 540 x 790mm and 580 x 1100mm
- Insulated with 60mm of rock wool insulation, giving a U-value of 1.00
- Fire certified to EI30 (when wall mounted)
- Supplied with 120mm opening handle
- Timber door is supplied unpainted for integration into existing decor
LUX B1010/B1020
- Available in two sizes: 570 x 800mm and 570 x 1100mm
- Insulated with 70mm of polystyrene insulation, giving a U-value of 0.54
- Supplied with 120mm opening handle
- Composite door with integral architrave offers minimal finishing requirement
LUX PROFFS B5010/B5020
- Available in two sizes: 570 x 800mm and 570 x 1100mm
- Insulated with 50mm of rock wool insulation, giving a U-value of 0.61
- Fire certified to EI60
- Supplied with 120mm opening handle
- Composite door with integral architrave offers minimal finishing requirement
